Papa rock
Jarang bercerita tentang ayah. Ayah seorang watak y dominant di dalam keluarga kami. Apa ayah kata, practically will be the bottom line. Its pretty cool, senang hidup.
HAHA. Aku ingat lagi dulu aku pernah bgtau kat ayah yang aku nak pergi ipoh. Masa tu masih belajar di utp. Ayah sms dgn nada bertegur. Kenapa asek keluar saje. Dan mama pula sms aku cakap. Bende remeh mcm tu pon nak cte kat ayah ke? Haha. OK. Lesson learnt. Kalau takat nakg ipoh, g JJ blkg rumah, g pejabat post. Tak perlu cerita kat ayah ok.
Kalau nak pergi panjat bukit pon tayah cte. Lain la nak pergi laut ke..negara orang ke..haha. ok da kol 1. Org pet akan beramai-ramaian dtg mesra mall. Baik aku cabut dlu.
Ciao.

A while ago
I felt stunted by the fact that I had to go to work the very next day I arrived in KL. Pissy spoilt mood I was in to have to hurl myself into the train wee early in the morning. I hate KL for that fact. I had my fair share when I did my internship in Ampang for 8 months during my 3rd year. Eons ago it seemed. Lucky for me f was in KL for work as well so we had our unusual lunch date. Even when we are both in Kemaman, we pretty much never went out for lunch. Dinner occurred on some nights where both of us are bored stiff out of our minds. Else he would be at work and I would continue working at home.
So I took a break later and it was really refreshing. Although I did not get to see all my friends, but mainly I got together with my supadupa girls for a (lame) round of bowling hahah. Cause we sucked!! And I think our thing is more of karaoke as opposed to bowling.
With jenggae I hit tabur. And it was magnificent. Totally steep and I think it is the next level after broga hill. Give it a try, and you'll agree with me. Anyways we are planning to go again. Am so happy now that I have memories with bukit Tabur.
Now we pass Tabur by car and we'd be like, hey love look. Its Tabur.

His turn to go have fun
OOooo. Nak pergi korsus ye. Sy balik, time tu la awk nakg course kan. Da la kate 7 minggu je. Hahaha. Thats just as long as my hitch in Yemen. Tabest betul timing. Ok so I've been kind enough and bored to death but I made good use of my time with looking the place up.
I hope you will make your way to Lake Borrevannet, where they house over 200 species of birds in that sanctuary. You've never liked fishies, so I hope you enjoy watching birds instead. And also head out to Preus Fotomuseum..the Norwegian Museum of Photography. Totally up your alley!
And the most important thing is. Please get me something. Tanak la voucher utk pergi Forever 21 to get that cardi I was expecting you to get me. Nak something you chose by yourself (maybe with the help of the sales assistant) paid by yourself, and lugged all the way in you check-in bag, boleh apis? ok. time kaseh love.

Puzzled goods
It's been like this since november last year. He was always tied up with his work, working late hours, working throughout the weekend. Never fiddled with messenger this or instant chat that. Didn't even bother to adhere to the email-me-once-a-day deal we made so that it could all still look like work to his peers. I'm very saddened by this state. Sadly, I feel like all we do is argue. Over his time. My bestfriend told me that she won't believe that I'm going to marry such a person who always seem to let me down until the day we do. Its pretty extreme, don't you think, to have someone so close to you say that? Or maybe it is true, that I do dish out heap loads of complaints about him that they really didn't see the connection we had. have. had?
Another close friend told me that guys were just structured to function that way.
I would say, simple, a peck on the cheek would do all the talking. Easy, a simple 10 minute chat would do the trick. Shallow, no news is good news.
April chic
April. Is a very feminine name. Sharp and poised. Good sense of style I hope. Maybe a little boho chic but totally fresh and exhilarating. Sadly, I am not an April chick. Well, au contraire if I was, I'd do the month no justice as I'm not really out there kind of person. More mellow. Yes, February suits me well. Mix thoughts and comments.
I've set my eyes on these pretty babies in kl. But its way to early to book a pair for the big day. The one I like was green in color and were peep toe. The down side would be how delicate the shoe is as opposed to cole haan's pretty nike pumps I tried on the other day. And it was only a fraction of the price. Sabar k, kire balik duit syilling dalam tabung tu.
But then, you can't be a vixen in flats? You oughta have these pretty pushers to help complete your outfit. Love love. But the color is a tad boring for me. How bout ocean blue or popping turquoise? Haha over betul.
Bile da besar nak jadi cantik mcm Lady M.

Death is certain.
I've been reading a lot lately. Too much of blog hopping and screen staring has actually resulted in both of my eyes turning red and kind of sore. I have too much time on my hands. And that is a bad thing how?
I read sarah's entry and felt the strings to my heart tugging with happiness and then eventually break as she tells her story which had a sad ending. I was left feeling a bit empty. Perhaps that was what she felt then. And I'm sure she is still on her way to dealing with the events that happened. Amazingly enough, F didn't know the news and I shared with him the reason why I was in tears in the middle of the dessert. I sincerely wish you well, and hope you guys will get that special someone in your family soon. Aku over kot rase hepi part die tau die preggy sbb I can relate to the expectation and anxiety that she shared with her readers about expecting a child soon. Ah. Words are easily spoken.
Then I read baya's entry and regret doing so in the office. What was I thinking? I had to practically hide under the table and pretend to fix the cable or something while I was secretly trying to wipe my eyes dry. She lost her son of 15 months in matter of hours. And she didn't even know how seriously ill her boy was. She is getting back on track, and hopefully will be strong enough to enjoy the love that surrounds her.
And then of course, I've been avoiding this one like the black plague. He was the only one which F ever used to leverage my tantrums by saying "dah dah la tu bb, din beramboi da tade....ni awk plak nk majok2".
May Allah bless your rested souls, and place you all next to those of the believers in His gardens.
Amin.

The generalization bug
I brought a bunch of dvds with me to the field in case that I may be stranded here longer than expected. As it is happening now. Let's summarize and generalize and be cruel to the following movies :
The invention of lying
Script : Kind of cruel and dry, it didn't need to be smart since the movie is about a community that could not tell a lie. And that there was a special guy who did tell a lie and he tried to coax the heroine into liking him.
Storyline : Interesting, but it didn't hit home run with me. Kind of bland. Like something you'd make up if you were in 5th grade english composition class. Or something.
Verdict: Other than check out Jen Garner, and her pretty figure, it is a so-so movie. Passes the time well.
Young Victoria
Script : Love love the characters in this. Wish I could see more depth to each character. But then, someone might hit me with a history book or something. Hehe. Emily Blunt played her role beautifully!
Storyline : Had all the important events in Victoria's life highlighted. We could see how she was brought up and her slowly digesting the power she has as Queen.
Verdict : I'm a sucker for epic history movies, don't you know. I love this one. Go see if you want to understand how hard it was for women to make it this far in the society.
Grey Gardens
Script : Drew Barrymore acts in this one as oh I forgot the name Edith Bouvier. I think. It is set in the 70s and she is brought up posh and well off. And their main objective was to marry her off. The script is well writ and I was so happy when in the end Edith finally exploded to her mom. Who I believe is the main reason why she could not live her life happily.
Storyline : Based on historical events, takes us behind the family drama of the women who dated the president's brother.
Verdict : Watch only if you can muster that much storyline and events. Its a bit heavy and slow for my usual liking.
Up in the Air
Script : very modern, very now. I like the young employee's character and got spunk!
Storyline : Interesting career expose (Avec accent a gare) Don't know how to make the other fonts come out. We can see how this movie got its critical acclaims for.
Verdict : Please go watch. Get ready for the ending. Haha, actually I guessed that the women was someone's wife since she wasn't so at edge about the relationship she had with george clooney.
Enough of re-capping. I want to watch nine now. Will jot down how I feel about that one later.
Schuz!

Season of Purple
I was welcomed home by the sight of pretty purple flowers faintly coloring the city of Sana'a yesterday. Mama said its the season for them to blossom. Purple flowers? I am still excited over the mere sight of them.
I enjoyed every single hour I spent at home. I even managed to skip the trip to the office, since the spare parts I had come for have not yet arrived. We went to a mall called max, where they had tonnes of imported goods and it was similar to H&M a Geneve and I could feel my brain feeding of the different textures I felt, the smells from the scented candles we bought as doorgifts, as well as the oh-so tempting array of costume jewelry. What were mama and I thinking, leaving the house at 4pm with only 2 hours to spare before it was time for magreb?
So now, diligently I will continue with my shopping list minus available money to spend to ensure that after check and balance, I will not be in too much negative-ness.

Climbing
I had a blast choosing the title for this post. Like, seriously. Keep your jelly beans in a jar. One of the greatest memories I ever got from rock climbing would be the rapport I had to build with F. He has basically two layers to his character build. And I am always treading in between the first and second layer it seems. His first layer would be the nonchalant mannerism in which he carries himself around, practically not caring about a thing. And the second layer would be the total 180 of that..totally caring to the tiny weeny detail. And in the core? Would be his mantel, that usually shows itself when I bawl myself to near death in front of him and he has to tell me to stop crying with brute force (mcm hulk).
When we rock climb, I usually get into fits of sudden spurs of frustration especially when I can't seem to find my way up the route. His first layer reaction would be, " push up with your right leg and reach for the yellow slab above you.." Still hot with frustration I'd yell something stupid and dumb down the wall, pretty sure that other climbers can hear. His second layer reaction would be, "ok baby try a little lower, maybe you can get the light blue hold and then kick off your right leg..?" He still wants to help. By then (most likely 5 solid minutes not moving) I'd lost all sense of hope and just hang onto the top rope while I gather myself together.
We'd usually fight for another 3-4 stumps along the way. And when I do make it all the way to the top, I'd be flushed with happiness and am so darned proud of myself that when I reach the bottom I'd be a tad embarrassed with the emotional baggage I actually gave him from above the 20m wall. Macam stupid kan? Hahahaha.
Yeah, we both love climbing together. It is a game of trust.
Yesterday I got scared that he was fooled into this relationship and asked him via text whether he knew I was as emotional..er.. as passionate as I stand before him now. Of course, being his first layer reaction, he gave me a convincing "Totally knew you that way".
