On 26th of May, the mechanical kids who took electives in Petroleum had their last paper. Facilities Engineering, Transportation and Storage. The last paper was finally over. It was a rather sad moment for me though. I can't believe that this would be the last time I would ever set foot inside an examination hall as a student of this uni. Enough of the sappy stuff eh? Basically everyone had either finished the paper early or were purposely taking in the ambience of the earlier-known MultiPurposeHall for the last time. Some pics to remember the day by:

True Colors

Its been 2 years. I smack my forehead with suprise. What happened? There comes a time where we are not sure of the consequences of our actions. More often than not, we already know what will happen in the end but instead we opt to go against our better judgement. That was what happened.
New things will replace the old and we lose our care as the replacements themselves begin to age day by day. The degradation of its value. Something that started off with a brightly lit bang is now slowly dissipating into thin air. How temporary is smoke? People change and in due time some might reveal their true colors to you, if you are lucky. They present themselves in saturated reds and vibrant sky blues. Each stroke of the brush a suprise. The colors in the pallette mix and swirl, stirring you to the edge of your seat.
And then slowly but surely, as if someone had spilt water over the colors, you lose your spark.
I think it is even more lucky if the set of colors you've gotten acquainted to remains the same. Stubborn boy today, stubborn boy by tomorrow.
I keep reminding you when you fall short of your expectations - but thats what you get when you lift the bar so high in the first place. You made it look so easy. And I followed suit. People will think that it wasn't an act, instead that it was an all-natural habit of yours to please me so.

Hoki Finals & A Birthday
Hoki Piala Sultan Azlan Shah, held in Stadium Hoki Ipoh!! Yeah, its about time I made my way there. I mean, setiap kali kua g ipo tgk stadium nyala terang2 tp tapenah nakg tgk bola or ape2 that was going on there. What a waste kan? So this is my final semester, and probably the only game taking place in Ipoh, I think Liga Malaysia is pretty much finished (?)
Finals, Malaysia VS Australia. The audience all knew that Malaysia didn't really stand a chance against the big giants, but went there for the heck of supporting. Kene titik okay. Sekian.

There was another match before the finals so the stadium was pretty packed. Free admission!
This is why hockey matches are enjoyable, so up-close to the field with minimum security at the sidelines and I think its not as aggressive as football. No baling2 botol air or whatnot.
This is duwe. He secured a job with Schlumberger. Haha. Taniah2!
Up until halftime we were squared at 0 points each. I think Malaysia played too much of defense in the 1st half, but then forgot all about it in the 2nd half which gave the ozzies the chance to put away 3 goals. OUCH.
We just ate the cake in the cafe, no biggie. Just close friends and a 4-flavoured cheesecake. Where else got?? Hehe.Sunday, May 20, 2007
My Visual DNA
I took this site from jengga's page and had a go. Really interesting way of describing yourself, through selection of pictures!! Then you can go and see how you and your partner faired.
this is mr luvboat's
Yeah so we are a 0% match. Hehe. Not too bothered by it. Rather interested to know why he chose what he did. Sorta like getting to know him better. Give it a go!

Mari Present Mitos~
'Twas the day of Wednesday, 9th of May that i was scheduled to present my project yg tah pape itu.
I don't even want to remember the title. Its too long and I always get the arrangement of the terms all wrong. I'm doing modelling, in other words, just calculations a bunch and then run in ansys to see if my calculations tally up with the simulation.
See, ansys is a garbage in - garbage out simulation. And I am damned sure that what I keyed in was garbage, and convenient to say that what I calculated was even more garbage since I couldn't find any standards in the library to help me undo the garbageness of it. So this leads us to:
garbage in (calculated) = garbage out (ansys)
The equation above comes to an equilibrium and thus, I have succeeded in completing my objective of the project!! *clap clap*
Ngaha.. anyhoo the presentation was a breeze, the 2 external examiners did not have that much to say about my project but rather wanted to know more on the general outlook of using hydrogen as an alternative for vehicles.
Luckily, I did my homework and read through various symposiums so all that im-reading-cuz-im-worried has definitely paid off!!
In a nutshell, (oh sungguh bore that phrase) my presentation went well but I was dumb enough to hang around until the 3rd presenter ( my group of 4 material friends have always been supportive of one another, we'd rat on the sv, or warn one another of upcoming storms, you get the picture. so it was normal of us to wait till the end of the presentation slot), which turned out to be a mistake.
Sitting there idling away~ then all of the sudden the question pops out.
"If we strengthen our material, are we or are we not compromising the material's ductility? Or shall we begin with, what is ductility or how can we define flexural strength? Ashratul?" Ngaha..tenganga aku di situ. Deng! I should've just scram right after my presentation.
Sufficient to say that after the 3rd person I gave a signal to my sv saying that I'd be leaving now, into the arms of my bf (hehe, couldn't resist to add la sorry yeh) haha.
So that was my final final year project presentation. so dramatic lah. Yea rite. Im just thankful this nightmarish ordeal is OVER!! peace.

Car Crash
Today I attempted to park at a downside hill that is infamous for its downsided-ness which leads to the other infamous speeding down the hill, which leads to my story.
I'm bad with the reverse gear and the whole long clutch thingy just doesnt help. So I sorta hit the car behind me as I was trying to give way to a silly (this is my way of typing stupid) campus guard's blue truck that was *gasps* speeding down the hill. Kire pakgad td kne emergency brake ke ape haus brake pad die ke entah ler but it was scary.
Both cars came out clear of any damage, but it has deterred my spirit of using my bf's car. Yeah its all nice and fuzzy to be using your partner's most prized possession, but to an extent that you might get too big headed or ape2 je la. Hati ku da tak sedap.
So bye bye nbf.. We've had our share of fun going to the library and back. He's never been the library going type.
Hihi. my bad.
What a foul foul foul day.
Silly.

5th Year Annyversary
5th May, 2002 - 5th May, 2007
Its been 5 years since I first step foot here on UTP ground. The days has passed me by so quickly I feel cheated, relieved and sad all at once.
Sometimes I'd be having lunch with sara and we'd bitch in a reminiscing-let's laugh at it manner about people and how they were like during the special semester and compared them to how they carry themselves now. Some things changed, while others remained the same. Thats when I sit wondering how much I have changed as a person, has it been good, bad or is it possible to not change at all?
Alone with myself, I'd think of all the people who entered and left my life in graceful, if not otherwise hurtful ways. Do they still think of me too? I have always loved the view I get from my room window. In Village 3, I'd spend hours just sitting, observing people waiting patiently for their loved ones to come and pick them up. Some boyfriends were always late, I'd recongnize the late cars. Whilst others would always end up waiting for their girlfriends for hours. I know their plate numbers too. Hawhaw. Guess which one I was in?
When in Village 5, I started adopting the habit of waking up real early. I'd pretend the trees are accompanying me and we await the rise of the sun together. I'm going to miss the trees. Although they spook me so when I am jogging alone out in the back.
In just a mere 2 weeks I will have to part to all this that has been my home of 5 years. I know I will be miserable. But the familliar plate numbers that I know have been decreasing. They have left me here alone. And now, it is my turn to leave and make room for all the other new players coming into the scene.
So I brace myself for the bittersweet adieu to come.

Pantheon 7
Ob group #7 a.k.a. Pantheon 7!! I added the 7 to it so that it sounded better. The all-famous activity of OB class. The tower building- song singing group activity that everyone has to undergo whether they like it or not. Fortunately, my OB (organizational behaviour) class is a small crowd of familiar faces.
So this was our tower, made up of hangers and masking tape and a foundation of 3 pails and 2 bricks. The moment of truth, pn noni kicked it 4 times and it held its position!! Taniah2. The feeling is all too familiar (mcm platform building with paper aritu) minus the stress.
The three-stooges. Pn noni remembers our presence in threes. Coincidentally sara's group and my group both donned the color red. Seb bek tudung kaler lain. My bestest buddies ever!!
And last but not least, Sara's leaning tower that fell on top of pn noni's head when she gave it a mighty kick. Made out of styrofoam, tapi tape. It had aesthetic value though. My group performed spice girl's Stop song with lyrics that were changed to suit the teachings of OB. Not too many pictures since we all had a long day and there were practically 3 dslrs present on that event. Haha. Tu je sbnanye alasan ku =p one, two, three.. pose!!

Princess of Egg Tarts
Princess is a nice word. Very safe. Here's a tip, add the word to anything that the girl likes and it will surely make her day. Like, Princess of High Heels or Princess of Teddy Bears. Oh so bubbly and cute all of them. So what happens when you put the prefix on to something she likes to eat? Like, Princess of Dumplings or Princess of Chocolate. Now, this one is a little bit tricky and takes a lot of practise before you pull one of these prefixes with ease.

Tape la, tak kesah la princess of ape2 pon. As long as I am the Princess of Your Heart.
Gc noticed my fetish for egg tarts a few weeks back when I keep on wishing I had some in the fridge. So he decided I should be nicknamed Princess of Egg Tarts. Hmph. So dompot2 like. Eager to let him in on my version of what a Princess of Egg Tarts would look like, I drew this up for him.
Tape la, tak kesah la princess of ape2 pon. As long as I am the Princess of Your Heart.

Hectic Mectic

Yes so this past week has been the living hell of my school years.
Monday- Facilities Eng Test 2 - but later turned into a take home test thanks to the 'genius' brainstorming idea of a few men of my class. Like, why not ask for a take home on friday or something?? I could've head home and spend the whole weekend with my brothers and even go to nino's birthday bash. Stupid. I still hate you. Thats why I am reluctant to go to the mechanical batch bbq event sunday evening. Stupid.
Tuesday&Wednesday - God blessed holiday(s). Study for all the tests. Tp mcm tak je. Leka. Rabu g gym!
Thursday - Eng Econs & Entreprenuership Test 2, was kinda easy or was it because I thought it was easy but really did it all wrong? 20 mcqs, easy breezy, covergirl. Haha. Argh belasah je la.
Friday - FYP Final Draft Due. Slept for 4 hours and had it all compiled and ready by 8am in the morning. At 10am (cause I needed to have it bound and stuff) I made my way to Block 17 only to realize that my SV's office was in Block 18. Cuckoo.
- Drilling & Prod. Tech Test 2. Mcm serabot sbb kne plot graph. And I know I mislabelled a line on the graph. Oh bugger.
- 11pm OB group meeting preparation for the tower building event on Saturday morning. Practised the song like crazy. But thank God I was in a group of 6 girls and 2 boys. So the singing and choreography was fun.
That, ladies and gentleman, was my last and final week of school for the term of 2002-2007. Alhamdulillah. Argh. I don't want to graduate.
