BrainFreeze

I was in a hurricane of things to do previously. Proposals, presentations, fabricating new iron racks for the yard, the nitrogen course for the new hire, just plain too many things for my small brain to contain. That, evidently I forgot a thing or two. Hehe. And yesterday I was busted! Not in a bad way, just kinda went through a spring cleaning session with the mess I have on my desk looking for a drawing I had but couldn't really locate the darned thing.

And then at 11 o'clock onwards I was in brainfreeze mode. Gile tade keje. I had work to do, but I couldn't make myself to work like a train anymore. All I felt like doing was surfing and bloghopping.

Pastu balik rumah book flight g KL for friday evening and called encik penolong pengarah to check into my favourite hotel. Sekian.

Client Service Quality Meeting

I was all set to go to Kuantan to catch the hottest movie in town, the Dark Knight. And then I got the most dreaded sms of my life.

"You will do the presentation, as required in your LMS.."

Oh great heavens. Why la whyy. Why must it always rain on me? So that night, I headed out to Kuantan with no mood for a movie and I guess the stars guessed me right and all the good seats were taken. So we went for plan B. Later that evening my boss called, he was still at a meeting.

"Present aja slides itu, I will be there to back you up.."

I felt mucho better! And afterall I was the one who did all the slides, every single one of it. We headed out to a friend's place and had dinner with him and his cute baby girl, and with the celebration of his 2nd expected child on the way! After dinner we headed back to kemaman and I slept straight till 4 am where I did my isya prayers and decided to go through the slides.

They day of the presentation, it went well. Most of the clients were newbies like myself. A bit of a headache because not all of them understand the operation offshore. Once we got back to the base, my boss told me,

"Thank you for the presentation, it was a very good presentation, I think"

Wargh wargh~!! Soka soka. Syukur, alhamdulillah it went well. I hate last minute arrangements, but presentations are something I know I can nail 'em every time. Syukur. Boss aku lg satu y sepatutnye present tu mmg nak kene tol.

All I need now is a pillow, my blanky and mister bear. Then I could sail away and never return. I haven't been getting enough sleep lately..

Sara and Naz

Aku rindu mu Sara!! Sara budak nakal.. Padan muke die kne babab ngn ehem ehem.. Me and Sara at Hai Peng. Leteh tunggu Zul. Saket perot aku dibuatnye.

I had to be the one to sign off her surat kelakuan baik or something of that sort, coz it had to be signed off by someone who knows her for more than 5 years. Wakaka. Sorry encik Zul, awak tak layak. Tapi saya? Lebih dari itu!! Cik mek ni pong satu, bakpe dok suruh mok, mokcik, dok pung pokcik mung sign blake? Sabo je la.

Dan selang beberapa hari daripada hari itu, Nazihah pon mari ke kemamang. Wakaka. My accent is so silly. Anyhoots. We stayed at Awana, and Naz was all worried and anxious about going offshore. It would be her first time to stay overnight at a platform, before this she was always returning to shore by boat or chopper. Goodluck Naz-kun!

I will be in Awana on the 27th..to spend the night with Naz, and baru semalam I spent the night at Awana's with Ujie-kun. Oh my. Good luck to all my luvly girls!!

New Technology Day, PMO Kertih

The event that made me feel like a slave. Thanks boss!!

This was when the guests came to each booth and asked around.. and the yummy part was that this new technology that we were presenting, I haven't a clue to what any of them is! Pernah dengar, tp tak pernah gune lg dlm job. Mcm la byk sgt da g jobs pon kan. Pathetic~

After the visit2, L-R : Budak DB, Fong my intern, Amin-utp-DB, me, Ecah, Abg Suhaimi and Pham Tien the specialist from KL Office.

Of course lah, Petronas event must have drinks2 and foodies. Famished like crazy. Boss tak tanye pon da mkn ke tak ke. Ha ha ha. First day of expo I had lunch out with Hanisah, Esah, Ayu Mawar, Ecah and Lela at the Nasi Kukus in Kertih. Second day Hani was down with a fever.

Me and ma' boyss. Miss my classmates! EE, Cinod and Abang. Actually nama die Roshamdi, but everybody calls him abang. Cute kan? He was in my group when we had the SLB interview back in UTP. I met tonnes of friends, I guess that would be the only perk of looking after PCSB for the future. And yes, some of you have already read it from Kunaz's page that we were squirming like squids when we saw one another in the hall. Kah kah kah..!!

With Cinod and EE again. Best ngumpat2 ngn derang. Thanks fellas. Oh yeah, freebies on the house! Siap ade mamat yang jage Angsi threatened me, " Ko nak contract ngn Angsi ke tanak? Klo nak bek ko bg aku mug.. Nak ke tanak contract??!" cam.. apekah? Bapak ko ke sign contract tu? (mungkin bapak die sign, but I find the likelihood of that being true is very tipis). Silly boy. Don't make me smack you.

Yea yea yea! This would be the sole reason why I would even want to help set up a booth. Nak jumpe kawan-kawan!! Kunaz, Ros, and Naddy!

Friday 4th July

• 7 am -Its a good day to be around in Kemaman, no car, no traffic. I had Joe to myself that day.
• 5 pm - Petang pergi Kuantan, rempits ngn Joe. Nice one lah.
• 8 pm -Watched WANTED, hotness lah angelina tuh
• 12 am - Sara's Birthday, Happy Birthday babes!!

Saturday 5th July

• DAY OFF! Breakfast, tp more like brunch because breakfast in my books is around 730-800 am sharpo.
• 11 am - Breakfast with Sara + Azizul at Hai Peng, lanje derang plak
• 2 pm - Kuantan again.. carik spa! Mayang Sari Spa or something, definite hot spot in my books!

Sunday 6th July

• Keje balik. Cis.
• 9 am - My X-11 name plate project finally completed fabrication! Damn lame gile tgu supplier. Basically due to the fact nak tambah2 barcode bagai~
• 9am - 12 pm Helped out one of my RESAK crew to complete the post-job package
• 1 pm - 4 pm Tried to complete Post Job Report for well A15
• 6 pm Driving range at Awana
• 9pm - 11 pm Continue to work at the base

Monday 7th July

• 9am : Continue with documenting
• 3 pm : Went to the clinic to check on my toe
• 5 pm : Got 2 damned assignments: prepare slides for client quarter review and prepare 4 generic proposals for Tinggi campaign
• 9pm - 11 pm :Base at night and slept in Joe
• 3 am - 6 am : Completed Post Job Report well A13 yang ade 5 runs itu

Tuesday 8th July

• 9 pm : Had dinner at Kertih with Naz and bumped into leesa
• 10.30 pm : Room 362 with naz, hepi hepi hepi
• 11 pm - 630 am : Stayed up all night to complete the darned proposals
  

Wednesday 9th July

• Slept at 640 am and woke up at 730 am
• 9 am - 12 pm : Had 2 field specialist trainee candidates come to the base for their field assesment, such enthusiasm!
• 3 pm - 4 pm : Loss Prevention Team meeting with my good looking boss =) somehow he thinks I'm a loner and sulks at home, sedangkan aku keje menimbun cam biskot
• 5 pm : Proposals half rejected, please fix. Urgent. Thanks ye.

Thursday 10th July

• Slept for 10 hours last night, heaven!
• 11 am : Got a call from my boss, apparently my proposal made him look stupid. Well, all I can do is laugh about it while cursing, padan muke kau!
• 1 pm : Completed the Safety Operations and Improvement Meeting slides at 1 pm
• 3 pm : SOIM presentation
• 5 pm : g mampos same sumer!! (erti kata lain, balik awal lah..)
  

Lhene's Big Day

Went to Lhene's wedding the very Sunday I was off. Heavenly feeling to get to don the kebaya haha! Sebek dlm almari ade berato2 baju traditional yang aku belum sempat pakai lagi. Oh ye, I love and love going out to buy fabric and then having my tailor keep them for a couple of months and then spoil myself with choice di pagi raya...

Lhene is one of my Supadupa girl. Considering she is ujie's friend and then by default also a friend of mine. Was superbly sweet how she invited me to her wedding. She messaged me through friendster asking for my address stating that she was going to get married the next month. Hehe. Syukur, ade rezeki dpt jugak aku g kenduri kawen rakan ku. I've missed way too many weddings in the past.

Lhene had her wedding reception at Dewan Gamalasari, in the Risda office building. And this shot was one showing us getting ready to show our heels of to the photographer. Hehe. ANTM kunungg~

Days Off June 08

Am now finally in the mood to blog about my days off with my lovely family. It was only a few days that we were present as party of 5. That is good enough, I could not ask for more, syukur Alhamdulillah..

So for the first few days with me, my family came by to Kemaman and picked me up. I had made reservations at Awana Kijal for a night's stay there. We got a deluxe suite and it was fun to stay cramped in a small space and bump into one another. That evening we had a grandalicious dinner at Seri Kalong, a spot that is nearby the warehouse.

The next morning my dad and Ashrul had a game of golf, and that left the rest of us to go swim in the open sea. Superb!! Walaupun aku da lame dok Kemaman, tp this would be the first time I step foot in the ocean. Darn.

Later that day we headed out to do some serious batik shopping, ok la.. kaler pon menarik2, aku je la sengal tak bwk cash. Hapekah. Alasan btol? Last2 ayah yang kne baya kan utk aku. And at the airport dad said that the batik was a hadiah for me. Wahh. Da besa2 da pon dapat gak hadiah kan. Syok woo.

Petang itu adalah tidur di rumah staff house sy. It was fun, only I woke up in the morning to find that ayah, mama and wan all slept in the same small room, and I slept alone in my big fat room.

At 730 I dragged the boys out to accompany me to drive to Hai Peng, to share the all famous kopitiam cuisine. Tengahari itu kami pulang ke KL. Aku separa jalan da tdo dah.
