No Part Three

Downtown Tulsa.

It turns out that I do not need to read or digest any trilogy. There was no need for me to dwell on the things that are set in stone, determined to happen, in the past. There was no way for me to change them. Sure I will always be jealous of the time that was not mine. But since I already said it the way it is.. The fact that it was not mine to begin with. Then there really is nothing that is of loss to me. I have not yet been able to see myself reflected in you. Your choice of words, songs, trail of thoughts. Most of them are new to me. I guess you keep things spiced up. Cool.

And I can only hear myself breathe calmly, blow a heavy sigh of relief.

The mental war is over, I am finally free. I need to pick up the pieces and continue where I left off.

Monolog

Aku jarang berbahasa ibunda di ruang ini. Mungkin kerana aku tidak fasih. Bukan forte diriku. Boleh sesedap hati sahaja menyelit unsur2 barat. Agar monolog aku ni lebih berwarna-warni. Menarik untuk si pembaca.

Haha.

Who am I kidding.

Pablo Neruda would know

Crayola magic markers on sale at Walmarto. And a touch of Elmer's glue to make it *pop*! The flea market was great. Funny experience. Sense of sight, touch and smell. Heavily highlighted with a nagging feeling in the back of my mind. Why her? Scratch that.

If you ever come across a sarcastic suggestion like, "I think you should start smoking again, so that you don't feel like you are being left out on life".. What you need to do is a no-brainer. To some I guess.

I've already said I love you, so please don't smoke. But was shrugged away telling its just a phase. Never meant to de-man someone by restricting their rights on what they want and love to do.

"His friends are all die-hard fans. Loyal, all out and would give anything to help one another. "

I guess smoking is the only thing that counters all that good stuff to make him human.

9,438 miles apart

Hey love. You have to fix your song. Its no longer 1000 miles. Hik hik (gedik) Its actually 10,000 miles. So I round it up to make it easier for you to remember.
I love you!! I'm a jealous bitch, and I want you all for myself.

Oklahoma Aquarium, Jenks.

Last weekend we went out on a big group excursion. The date was actually to be ready by 10am. We even had the shuttle from Hilton wait for us. But lo and behold, we partied hard the night before. (Saturday nights are always rough, its the day of the exam, the day we go out shopping and the day we upload everything on the internet. Or download..)

They left this clay pot in the sea to create new breeding ground for these hrm. Molds?

All of us woke up late, we were joined by Due and Geeta from the other Hilton. We went to the aquariummm. Haha. It was as if we had never seen fishies before. The good part about the place was that they were not picky or too strict on what we brought in. We packed chips and vitamin drinks in our bags for - so malay - fear of starving ourselves within the vicinity. Yo lah, how were we to know its not as big as the Louvre? Hi hi.

And I am a seahorse. Sbb seahorse perut derang kiut.

The place smelled of fish markets. Like in Selayang. Haha. But I was pretty impressed. It had some of the nicest, most user friendly exhibition on show. There were a lot of places where they set up ponds and tanks where you could actually put your hand in and touch the starfish. The starfish felt hard. Like coral rocks. I would think it was soft and squishy like fish or squid.

Aha! Buat ape tu. Thats not my hands yer.

Muke nakal nak korek2 starfish off the rocks. Padahal da tahu taleh buat mcm tu.

Spongebob nye jiran.

Anyways a bit about the location. Its located in a district called JENKS. Best kan? Ingt kat jengga. I will take more pics when I get the chance babe! Its within the 5 mile radius of our hotel. Thats why we just used the shuttle. It is known for its antique shops and tea rooms. But I guess we didn't go by the town area.. So I must go back there!

See how excited she is when I told her we are going to come back to Jenks.

Later we had lunch at TK2's. Man its been a while since we had rice. Crazyy. Makan punye la makannn. We watched a G-Force in 3D at the Riverwalk Movie theatre. It boasted the latest high-tech state of the art 8 screen movies. There you do not need to queue in a separate counter. The popcorn and the movie tix are sold together and everybody was practically getting tickets for the movies that were starting in 10 mins. Best kan??

Petrified. Padahal my butt was burning.

See what it spells?? Riverwalk Movies. tatau nape ingt kat superman.

Budak2 nakal.

Hermanes Mehico.

I was too tired for a movie. I fell asleep halfway. The movie was cute with an original story line..thats what I think at least. We headed to the marble slab creamery for some ice-cream action. We had ours mixed with 2 flavours and pecans. They mixed them all up on the marble slab..thus the name. But for me, it was too much sugar and not creamy enough. Rejected. Haha. The pastries, the ice-cream. Definitely not like in Europe.

Lepak2 at the ampitheatre. And then head home. Pancets.

Piggish Tryglicerides Rubbish

Have been slacking off on my general knowledge section of life. The price of taxis going up, the ISA issue in our country. None of which I can continue a peaceful conversation on. Lucky for me, I grew up under the reign of one Prime Minister. Bonus points for him cause I love him, so he is memorable on my account. I even red the cartoonized version of Mahathir Mohamad. Biographies rock. If they are illustrated. Feels like a sugar high for my imagination. Rough times huh.

I always understood my friend's plea of 'in need of distraction' whenever he would put it up on his gtalk status. But there was really nothing for me to do but to entertain him out of his misery, and help him see the light somewhere. Light bounces off so many things, it would be a rat hole you are in if you can't catch a glimpse of it barely.

I found myself a new hobby. I shall splurge on it. Cause I don't care anymore. Rocket always says that relationships aren't about making changes. At least character wise. No money would mean I can stall everything else. And just bloody focus on me.

Putting myself on the ground and feeling envious only gets the best of me. I can not accept you the way you are, I can not learn of your ways and then be suprised. I hate suprises. If you can do it why can't I? Probably cause I don't have any friends who would want to do those crazy things with me. Haha. (Apeshit bunyik macam loser entry?)

I'm gonna rent a bike for the weekend and get myself a new toy. Its gonna be great, I promise. I'll be invisible. The way it works best for you.

Okmulgeee is a name of a place

Random thoughts of today.. I'm currently reading Howard Gardner's Changing Minds, so far the read is pretty good. I hope he will enlighten me with solid facts on human behaviour. I'm at the part where he introduces the reader with the 80/20 Principle that this guy Koch came up with.. like how only 20% of our effort is needed to achieve 80% of what we set out to do, and how 80% of profits actually only come from 20% of the products. Stuff like that. I'm totally up for a roller coaster ride on this one.

The guys all had a blast last night, I guess. All of them came on the school bus wearing shades, nodding and asking each other to just shutt woupppp. They must have had a lot to drink last night, what with no assignments and just a load full of self study expected from you. Even I went and hit the gyms, saying hello to my soon to come wings. Haha. I wish I had wings. Sort of in the abstract way, like on angels. Tee hee.

We've had a few silent days, mostly due to his work. Long meetings that dragged on to more than one day. Bad internet connection. The usual. His photos had a bunch of stuff in them. Some of them annoyed me, amazingly. Pictures of pretty feet that were not mine. I wouldn't want to nag on those that were taken before we were together. Whatever shit lah.

Tomorrow I am heading out to walmarto again. We love the Dohnuts!! Super soft, and if you leave them for more than a day, they turn chewy on the sugary coating and the inside stays moist.

Most of the picture taken were when I was away for work. Oh snap.

Under Water with Me

This time its just you, me and the deep waters. Coming all the way to the states was a nice break. Something I've been looking forward to with uncertainty and high level of anxiety. Every time I think about the work or at least my work table in Kemaman..I will shudder with disgust and pray thanks to God for this training I am in.

Its not that I hate my job that much..but most of it is not going my way and I am always finding myself not in unison with my managers. Which, can be a big pain if they start to gang up on you. I just want to go offshore..

Lucky for me, I am not alone here. I have my buddy Zarina with me and we make a note of not talking too much about work as it seems to cast a shadow over everything else on our minds. Like, the course. Haha. It seem time is doing what it is doing best, passing by in a jiffy. I fear the day I have to return back to Kemaman. Haha. Do I really hate my job that much??

We went to the Oklahoma Aquarium, and there was the great sea turtle. There were 2 of them, and the tank was so big. They both looked so calm, serene. At peace.

I wanna grow old like them.

First Week in US

Let's see let's see.. Kinda overdue..but here goes. My first week so far has been a blast! Minus the downsides of it. I'm really looking forward to making myself feel at home with the weeks to come.

The boys in my class are a good bunch. Instantly Zarina and I could differentiate the geniuses, Des Amigos, Le Ruskis and then theres just Nick. Haha. So we have a Columbian, Indian, Mexicana, Russians, Americans and us Malaysians. What a spicy mix! Theres only 9 of us, so I expect for us to get pretty close. And the boys are very kind and speak loud in class so that Ildar does not have to wait that long before getting an answer.

We had our first week exam on Saturday. It was open book. But, for those of you who have never taken an open book exam..those are pretty much the impossible type. We were supposed to be done by 12 but then Ildar decided to let us submit it by 6pm. We completed the task together and all got around the same answer and headed out to McAllister's for some lunch.

And then..We headed out to Woodlands Hill Mall for some soul torturing. Haha. As stated in the entry below. Wiha~!!

Mad about Madden

Yesterday after exams Zarina, Mansur, Dima and I headed out to Woodland's Hill Mall. It was a nice change, after spending a week in the hotel rooms and the dark classroom.. We needed to air out our brains with some retail therapy. We basically ran in and out of Abercrombie, Hollister, Wet Seal, GAP..endless endless. Oh and of course Victoria Secret.

Notionn Gold. My latest splurge. Tak la splurge sangat, since it was on SALE~!! And it was even lesser than the price shown if you go to stevemadden.com =) I came without bringing any sort of sandals or slippers - my all time must have to wear. Of course intentionally. So that I could drool over these babies!!

Next up. This blue leathered piece called Cheryl. Either in deep blue or deep purple. Haven't made up my mind yet. But - Zarina and I have decided not to buy so much while we are here in Oklahoma. For fear of the better things that await us when we get to L.A. at the end of the course!! Oh selamat Hari Raye everibadi!!
