W : Hantaran(s)

I've decided to consolidate the pictures and stories so that I tackle each aspect with equal amounts of love and respect.

My hantaran (gifts) were all decorated by Mama! I'm not sure where she got the cupcakes, but the flowers were from Kak Sue florist (nearby Melawati Police Station) and most of the ribbons and flower petals on the sides of the tray were bits and bobs mama put together. Most of this stuff you can get in good quality and standard price within Jalan TAR area.

For the beaded fabric that covers the tray, Mama had the time to stitch up her own set. Using material she got from the markets in Yemen.

The dipped flowers were also her handicraft. Its quite feasible. The hard part would be to bend the metal wires into leaf and flower petal shapes. The choice of color is endless!

Please please please discard this as an attempt to be obnoxious or a complete show-off. This entry has an early cut-off since I've used up my extra hour from coming in early to the office this morning.
