June still remains a month of wonderful events for our family. And the summit was definitely Abang's engagement with his girlfriend, Liza. The event took the whole day as our families with a total of 7 cars went to Batu Pahat, to send the ring to the ring bearer.
What was most fun and memorable about the whole thing was that we watched before our eyes the events unfold. First mama went off to Batu Pahat to scope out the place. Hehe. So that she wouldn't faint or get shocked by what she was going to see on the big day itself. And then there was the late night 'arts and crafts' session Mama and I would do, along with my Maksu and my dear cousins around to help out with the hot glue gun and ribbon folding all the other stuff.

Both my parents have left for Yemen. I feel a bit sad. But back at home, surely Abang will feel the emptiness of the house more. Ashwan has started his first day in uni, and I am here missing all these sweet memories..
Wishing for them to come back, so I can make hot tea at 5, wait for my brother to come home with the banana fritters, pester Ashwan so that he'd let me sit on the sofa he's been sleeping in since the night before, listen to my mom tell me the same piece of gossip she just told yesterday and wait for my dad to start making a fuss about something he misplaced and left right underneath his nose.
Dreaming is free, huh?
