Freefall

We build relationships so that we have fixtures around us. Like a harness, it grips us tightly and holds us close to the world we blindly committed ourselves to live in.

But once in a while, events or mishaps come our way, uninvited and we find ourselves standing at the edge of a cliff. And as if triggered by the wave of euphoria that we feel, the harness loosens and breaks off. Leaving small cookie crumble pieces behind.

Freefall, falling where no external force is exerted onto the mass, other than from the pull of gravity.

Sometimes things happen so fast that you feel the only way to go is down into the rabbit hole and fall. And despite everything that your friends warned you about, more often than not, you will want to fall.

Getting up, you pretend to pick up where you left off. Smooth out the wrinkles you have created.

While you escape from the eyes of watchful others, you still try to catch a brief glimpse of him. And when you do, you smile to yourself.

Charmed silly.

Her rosy cheeks + cherry lips

Weekends suck. I brake my back making love to my job. The kids are wonderful and so full of innocence. You'd wish you could scrape some of their innocence off their pudgy paint covered fingers or wet chewy lips, bottle it up and perhaps use when you find yourself at a youth less pit.

But on weekdays, zaza and I get to savour the kids all to ourselves. That's why I love my Fridays and Mondays.

My appeal to transfer to KL has been rejected (Hello, Penang). I am going to ask for a delay in my date of report for duty but the latest they could give me was until the 3rd of September. So little time, so not enough money for all this nonsense.

I'll just throw in my towel and work there as I know I'll entertain all the lonesome blokes in the depot and maybe even the other men in the nearby manufacturing plants. Like it or not, they will have nothing else to do but to notice my rosy cheeks and cherry lips.

I got Penang.There.I said it.

I guess I can say that I have had the time for the news to sink in and now I am no longer in the denial stage. I got offered to work in Penang.There.I said it. As the title implies.

No more details shall be revealed for privacy reasons (haha, as if laa aku ni kesah sgt) oh and to add to this highly unwelcomed news, I believe that I shall be pretty much the only female exec working there in the depot. Meaning that I'll probably have a ball looking for roomies or housies.

So now, I am mentally preparing myself by watching tonnes of "Criminal Minds" aired on 8tv every other evenings so that I won't scare easy when my turn to live alone comes around.

Damn.

Squeeze Me!

Dear All/Diary,

I have been working with craft attack @ great eastern mall for the past 2 weeks now. My lunchtime and daily routine has changed pretty drastically. Mama stayed with us in Keramat for the whole month of june so we were pretty pampered and each gained a kilo or two. Now that she is back in geneva packing for our next posting, we have each lost a kilo or two. How easily it comes and goes.

I swim over at shada's whenever I have the time to do so in the wee mornings. I prefer the mornings since I believe the whole of KL is busily making their way to the offices in the heart of all traffic jams. Results are out. I missed the dean's list again this final time. Bummer. Almost but not quite, silly.

I got recommended to work for petronas. But I still have to do some work on that before any of it goes in my favor. Wish me luck, and till the next entry. Luv.

ps/ enclosed is a pic from a family luncheon. on the day of mama's departure, july the 7th.
