Making generations

On my trip to KB recently I was stunned and getting used to being addressed as 'Puan', which literally means Mrs. as in, married, with kids. In the flight, at the hotel concierge..even by the doorman.

Ah well, its just another couple more months before that will be officially what I am, a married missus.

Mama on the other hand is getting used to being recognized as 'Nenek'. At supermarkets, babies in trolleys would smile and call her 'Nenek!' and then smile as if making contact with an old acquaintance. Haha. Even parents of little children would push aside their son and say, 'Make way, Nenek here needs to pass by'. Haha.

How life is treating us fair and square. You wanna be a missus? Then its time that your parents are now upgraded to the next level, Nenek and Atok.

FourteenOhSevenTwoTen

He passed me a brown paper bag and in it, presumed to be a sickly sweet cupcake to soothe the burning pain imposed from waiting on him for nearly an hour (which is typical). Instead, and to my surprise. Beneath the frothy pink colored icing I forked out metal. Bejeweled metal with smooth surface. Couldn't possibly have been the aluminum wrapper on the cupcake.

We never did any formal proposal one knee serenade fishing trip or flower petals along the walkway thing. We have been agreeing with each other in silence. Its more sound that way I guess.

We get to celebrate our anniversary on any given day.

Going Hippie

Am feeling the happy vibe all over. Even more so that I've asked my intel to update me on the current operations offshore. In a nutshell, its not going to spoil my weekend! Yeahu. I've pored through my truckloads of clothes and not so newly bought-but never worn stuff. Making an effort to wear something different everyday. Its a cross between going overboard with the necklaces, hand cuffs and super youth like watches.

I met up with my florist, Kak Su. She says I'm the most laid back bride to be ever. Haha. I hope thats a good sign. I can take a chill pill, knowing you'd deliver. But when she came out of the restroom, I mustered the most 'chilled out' way I could, telling her the colors I wanted were to be based on purple, pink and whites. No perky yellow or surpise! fire orange. Haha.

Minggu ini adalah minggu pinjam kereta kawan-kawan.
