What suprises me the most was that the rest of the world read my last entry and came up with various reactions. Hardy har har. Guess what? The only and most important person who should’ve read that entry didn’t. Cheeeesecakes.
I had the luxury of catching up with a few close friends the past few weeks. It was such a refresher! Sometimes it just doesn’t make sense to have small grudges against those whom you call friends. Like one of them, I know is not too fond of my other half. I sort of avoided talking to her about it since it eventually made me feel bad. But we met up and I realized what a fool I was to let men-who-don’t-read-my-own-friggin-blog get in between us! Little does she know la kan. But now that I posted this here, I hope you don’t mind babes. Pluss the fact that you also did not know that I was feeling this way. Wowsa. What a circus of a paragraph!
Memories are basic building blocks of each and every one of us. I had the pleasure of working with a specialist who studied in Poly Ungku Omar and we just mapped the whole of Ipoh during the operation. It was a heartfelt moment for the both of us. How we both had jumped from livin’ it up in beautiful Perak – to suddenly being trapped and never knowing much about beachy Terengganu. Damn.
It has been around 510 days since I have been working/assigned to work in Kemaman, and I’ve only gone swimming twice. Sucker.

He Smokes
I told him that I’d leave him if he ever smokes again.
But all I really wanted to say was, I’d leave him anyways. Regardless of whether or not he smoked or kept his hair long or whatever whatever. Someone is volatile. I picked that phrase out from somewhere, I can’t recall.
There are points in life when people start falling back into their happy complacent daily cycle and I for one am feeling a bit b-o-r-e-d. Maybe it is totally insane to say, provided with the cruel fact that I am offshore for almost three weeks now and I do make the effort to call him, but our conversations are just. Bland. Like boiled fish.
And maybe it is also cruel of me to be posting these silly fragments of my late night doo daddling on my blog.
The only reason why I don’t take the topic of marriage seriously is because I am not sure it is you I want to marry.
Too bad you had bad experiences with buying rings for your exes. Wouldn’t want to add another one to the board now would we?

Kau Reti Buat Lemang?
Looksy looksy!! Haha. I am laughing at the pics of my hands la, so bambam. Anyhoots. Last Raya Haji, my family went all out for the celebration. We were also in the midst of the finalization of the settling of the deal about KTM wanting to expand their tracks which will, might, most likely affect my atok's house in rembau. Damn. So hari itu, we made lemang, dodol, rendang. And
I don't have anything interesting to share so here is how to make lemang.
I don't have anything interesting to share so here is how to make lemang.
Pick fresh, young banana leaves and cut them in half. It only takes half a leaf to fill in the bamboo tubes. Take a hard banana 'batang' or stem and slit it almost all the way to the bottom. Slide in the banana leaf in between the cut and roll the leaf.
Carefully, push the leaf that has been rolled up into the bamboo. Careful not to tear the banana leaf!
Taking a mix of beras pulu, coconut milk, salt and some asam keping, mix well with water. Take the mixture and fill almost to the top. Top it up with the coconut milk.

Its pretty messy, which is why you'd prefer to do it outside. Da abes project buang2 je bagi ayam makan. Hehe.
Light the oven to a pretty high temperature. And let someone with patience and expertise look after them. Baking lemang calls for an orderly manner of rotating the bamboo 90 degrees every now and then. So keep track!
While waiting for lemang, you could always help out with the dodol activity and burn a few calories. It looks easy, doesn't it? Give it a go and tell me how you feel about it..Haha.
Ini gambar family dengan maklang. Eventhough this is in Melaka, where we did NOT make the lemang, but its the only propper one I have of my family during Raya Haji 2008.Tuesday, February 10, 2009
